Ashburn International Readies to Launch Two New Products on The Polish Payments Market

2023-06-14
As a result of attending the XI Cashless Congress in Warsaw, several agreements were reached with Polish cashless payment operators concerning ASHBURN International's products. This year, the company participated in the event as a Gold Partner, presenting its solutions in payment technology and POS terminal network management. One of the presented products was a multifunctional EFTPOS device running on Android OS, as well as a tip payment function called My Tips.

The XI Cashless Congress is a long-awaited event for the Polish payment industry. Organized by the Foundation for the Development of Cashless Payments (FROB) with the participation of FROB Chairman Robert Łaniewski, the Congress brought together financial institutions, manufacturers of cashless software, acquiring companies, and government organizations to exchange knowledge and experiences. Over 100 people attended the event, including ASHBURN International’s longtime partners SUNMI and Ingenico.

“We aim to enter the Polish payments market this year,” says Executive Director of ASHBURN International Žoržas Šarafanovičius.“Attending the Congress is an excellent opportunity to meet with Polish payment industry participants, including cash register software producers, distributors, and prospective customers. We have held more than 15 business meetings in two days, and we have already started joint projects. Together with local acquiring companies, we are testing and certifying hardware and integrating software, such as the BLIK payment system and other international payment systems. Despite high market saturation, the country welcomes new businesses if their products are high-quality and modern.”

ASHBURN International plans to introduce at least two innovative solutions to the cashless payment market in Poland: the EFTPOS three-in-one terminal and the My Tips application.

EFTPOS three-in-one terminals run on the Android OS. After installing TransLink.iQ SmartPOS software and integrating it with other optional software, the device can perform three functions simultaneously: cash register processing, cashless payments, and online fiscalization. Retailers benefit from this efficient approach because only one device is required instead of three, minimizing hardware costs and simplifying infrastructure.

Various business applications can be integrated with EFTPOS terminals to facilitate payments management and other related processes. Many merchants and service companies prefer Android-based EFTPOS terminals running TransLink.iQ SmartPOS software. Managing encryption keys, monitoring transactions, and upgrading software for payment terminals can be accomplished remotely with TransLink.iQ Manager software.

The My Tips solution has proven successful in the Lithuanian market, and it has also been used in the Caucasus HORECA sector.

With this function, restaurant and cafe employees can receive tips direct to their bank accounts, including tax payments. The feature is integrated into the payment application and does not require additional hardware. Thus, My Tips reduces costs and facilitates tipping, making it more convenient and comfortable.

“Our company is confident in its product quality and its ability to adapt to market conditions since we developed the software ourselves,” says Business Development Manager at ASHBURN International, Anton Savkin. “There is no doubt that our products will be in demand by Polish companies and the international payment market.”
