ASHBURN International specialists have paid a business visit to Uzbekistan. The purpose of the trip was to participate in the international PLUS-Forum "Banks and Retail. Digital Transformation and Interaction", which took place in Tashkent on June 1.

The event brought together over 300 representatives of the banking and payments industry, trade enterprises, and companies providing solutions and services for the financial sector from around the world.

ASHBURN International presented at the forum its software solution for managing EFTPOS terminals and routing transactions — TransLink.iQ.

“The TransLink.iQ software solution is well known in the country. The Common Republican Processing Center of Uzbekistan has been using it for routing transactions for several years. Now other market participants are showing great interest in it,” the Head of Business Development at ASHBURN International Kristijonas Dunauskas says.

As part of the development of the TransLink.iQ platform, new capabilities were added to the system for working with Android EFTPOS terminals. The work of such devices under the control of TransLink.iQ was demonstrated by the ASHBURN International team at the forum. Forum participants were also able to appreciate the benefits of the TransLink.iQ ecosystem, which consists of several modules: Smart POS for POS terminals, Android API for Android POS terminals, TransLink.iQ Manager, and TransLink.iQ Insight. They could also see how various operational processes are performed on the system (for example, how transactions are performed, how terminals are managed, etc.).

The new capabilities of the system were highly appreciated by the guests of the forum, as they provide great potential for the development of merchant acquiring in the country and the region.

“Today, fundamental changes are taking place in the financial sector of Uzbekistan: new services and service providers are emerging, the country has taken a course towards innovative technologies, and this has significantly accelerated the pace of development of the republic,” Kristijonas Dunauskas believes. “We are confident that our experience of working with acquiring networks and payment service providers will help companies in the banking sector of Uzbekistan build effective payment and acquiring infrastructures, offer new services to trade institutions and individuals.”
